Govt utilizing all means to boost trade & exports: President

ISLAMABAD:  President Mamnoon Hussain has said the government is utilizing all means to bolster economic prospects, trade and exports through various concerted initiatives.

According to the sources, while talking to a delegation of Members of Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by Minister of State Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said that sincere measures were being taken to address the challenges confronted by the business community.

The President appreciated the contributions of business sector in the creation of economic opportunities for the betterment of people and towards attaining goals of economic stability and development.

Mamnoon Hussain called upon traders, manufacturers, exporters and entrepreneurs to take full advantage of the facility extended by European Union in enhancing duty free exports to the latter.

The delegation assured the President that Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry would continue making contributions toward national economy.
