AUSTRALIA: A man was thrown off a plane for doodling about terrorism in his notepad.
According to the media reports, Oliver Buckworth, 28, of Melbourne, was on a Tigerair flight bound for the Gold Coast when he was spotted by fellow passengers satirsing the current terrorism threat linked to the Islamic State.
A page from the notepad reads:
“In a land of melting ice-creams, sandy feet and fluffy bears, how could anyone be fearful of terrorism.”
It is reported that police stormed the aircraft and hauled him off. The wierd news grabbed international media attention via social media websites. Take a look at the weird comic:

Mr Buckworth said in a statement that:
“The irony is I was writing a sentence about the absurdity of the fear-mongering when we live in such a happy country of ice-cream and beaches and fluffy things.”
Whereas, a spokeswoman for Tigerair told media reporters that:
“Tigerair has a zero-tolerance policy towards inappropriate and antisocial behaviour. Safety and security of staff and passengers underpins the operation at all times and is never compromised.”
