Asiad Hockey: Pakistan beat China 2-0
INCHEON: After demolishing Sri-Lanka 14-0 in their opening game of Asiad Hockey, defending champions Pakistan outclassed China 2-0 in their second encounter on Sunday.
In their upcoming matches, Greenshirts will face hosts South Korea, Malaysia and their top-rivals in every sporting game India. Pakistan won Gold medals four years back in Guangzhou in China and are looking forward to defend their title.
The most awaited match for the fans from subcontinent will be played on 25th September between reigning champions Pakistan and their arch-rivals India to sum-up the standings in Group A.
In Group A Pakistan is drawn with Sri-Lanka, China, India and Oman, Group B includes South Korea, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Japan and Singapore. Pakistan will play their last group match against Oman on 27th September.
